IPFA Australia: PPP's for Infrastructure: Are the risks worth your Investment?

In conjunction with Standard & Poor's the International Project Finance Association (IPFA) are delighted to inform you of our latest set of briefings PPP's for Infrastructure: Are the risks worth your Investment? The briefings will take place in Melbourne (May 23rd), Brisbane (May 24th) and Sydney (May 25th). Please see below for venues and timings.

This briefings - which coincides with the recent launch of Standard & Poor's 3rd Annual Global PPP Credit Survey - offers a chance to hear and discuss the findings of the Global Survey on PPP's as they apply to the Australian context and address topics including:

  • Construction Bonding—how much is enough?
  • Refinancing—its impact on ratings and concern over thin spreads.
  • Myth busting! Can the facilities manager really absorb the operations risk?
  • The cost of underestimating strategic risk.
  • Does financial structure really mitigate project risk?
  • Your questions and comments

    The events will be chaired by Ian Greer, Director, Corporate and Government Services, and Ian will be joined by Brendan Flynn, Parvathy Iyer and

    Andrew Palmer all are Directors of Corporate & Government Services at Standard & Poor's.

    Copies of the Global Credit Survey will also be available at the briefings.
