International Engineering Management Conference 2007

The International Engineering Management Conference (IEMC) has long been a respected forum for the exchange of ideas related to the management of engineering and technology. Join us for the 2007 International Engineering Management Conference 29 July -- 1 August 2007 at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, Texas.

The 2007 IEMC will have three tracks.

1. The New Stars: Engineers: the New Leadership Class

2. The Stars at night are big and bright: Deep in the Heart of Texas: The growth of the creative class and the role of universities in developing creativity

3. Reach for the Stars: How to develop and foster creative minds for science and technology

There will also be two other planned activities.

1. Star Trek: Optional tours of Austin, San Antonio (the Alamo), or Johnson Space Center in Houston.

2. All Star Teams: Team building events.

Papers are solicited in the traditional engineering management roles. We also welcome papers that consider the human and community development dimensions of historically important IEMC topics. Typical topics in this category include:
