Asia Pacific Airports World 2008

Dates: 24 January 2008

Venue: Suntec - Singapore

The Concept

Recognising the need for the airport and airline communities to meet on a regular platform, Asia Pacific Airports World 2008 will be co-located with the highly successful 5th Annual Asia Pacific Low Cost Airline Congress in January 2008.

This Airports conference will be a highly-targeted and market-driven 1-day summit that brings together the commercial viewpoints of both the airport and the airline - this is about how each other's commercial needs can be better met through understanding, synergising and partnership....all in the vision of enhancing the role of Asia Pacific in the global aviation landscape.

Competition is intense as the region faces a time of "Growth" with IATA's forecast of a 6.8% increase in Asia Pacific air traffic. And, as businesses, airports are challenged to continually reinvent, rethink and reshape their management and development models and strategies to ensure that they stay on the forefront of change and incredible business opportunities. As more and more airlines, particularly LCCs, are launched in Asia Pacific, it is necessary for airports to meet this increased slot demand and plan its capacity ahead.

At this must-attend gathering for old and new faces in the industry - the focus will be on the best of Asia Pacific airports, and their achievements of world-class standards and innovation for airport development and management, in the face of rising air traffic, arising from both the birth of new airlines and the increase in passenger travel throughout.
