About the Conference
The 1st International Conference on Construction Project Management (ICCPM) was organized and held in 1995 by the Centre for Advanced Construction Studies, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. The Conference is organized once every three years, to focus on the strategic and technological solutions, as well as state-of-the art innovations that the construction industry need to have for remaking the industry so that it will achieve sustainable growth in the knowledge-based economy.
In this coming 5 th conference, the School is honored to have the Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Management (KICEM) to be part of the organizing committee. This conference will be integrated with the International conference on Construction Engineering and Management (ICCEM). This unique integrated conference, ICCPM/ICCEM 2007, will be held in Singapore from 1-2 March 2007. The conference theme is "New Frontiers in Globalization".
The Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Management (KICEM), founded in 1999, is a leading organization representing the academic and industrial communities of construction engineering and management in Korea. KICEM organized the 1st International Conference on Construction Engineering and Management (ICCEM) in October 2005 to share and spread relevant information and knowledge on the development of the construction engineering and management sector.
Similar to ICCEM, ICCPM aims to bring together researchers, construction professionals, government planners and consultants to present, share and debate new ideas, concepts, methods and techniques pertaining to the art and science of construction. This is a refereed conference.
