glclark.png
Gordon L Clark DSc (Oxon) FBA joins Stanford University as a Visiting Professor from Oxford University, where he is the Halford Mackinder Professor of Geography and holds a Professorial Fellowship at St Peter's College. Prof. Clark will be working closely with the CRGP team on the 'internal asset management' project with a view to unlocking institutional capital for investment in infrastructure. An economic geographer with an abiding interest in the tension between global financial integration and national and regional institutions, Prof. Clark has led a decade long research program on infrastructure finance and investment by pension funds. He is also focused on global finance and the investment management industry, including the governance structure and decision-making performance of pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds.
